]]> Caliphruria is a genus of four species, three of which grow in Colombia.  They are extremely rare in the wild, and are closely related to Urceolina.  Most grow in shaded conditions, and can make
excellent house plants, since their light requirements are low.  They are commonly known as Amazon Lilies.

C. edentata has beautiful shiny green leaves that are attractive in their own right, with lovely waxy white flowers. Previously known as Eucharis fosteri.
