										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Griffinia is a small genus of bulbs in the Family Amaryllidaceae found in remnant forests of Brazil where they are severely under<br />
threat from loss of habitat.  They grow in the Atlantic coastal forests in humid conditions in the forest understory.  There are about<br />
fifteen species.  Griffinia make excellent house plants, since they are adapted to low light, and will bloom repeatedly throughout the<br />
year if they are happy.</p>
<p>Griffinia espiritensis.</p>
<p>An outstanding Griffinia severely endangered in the wild, with beautiful sapphire blue flowers.  Blooms repeatedly and makes an excellent houseplant.  Not difficult to grow.</p>
